Costa Rica

Central America has a mystique for me and Costa Rica was a blend of music - for a songwriting workshop - and its natural and sometimes strange beauty. It was filled with surprises both in the city of San Jose as well as in its tropical jungles

The variety of flowers was astounding and the soil was so fertile that branches stuck in the ground would start to grow again - - and then there were the crocodiles and caimans (no alligators). I “flew like Superman” on the zip-lines in Tu Ru Bari and was led through the Metropolitan Cathedral by a small gentle man who was filled with pride about ‘his’ church.
