County Fair Parade
It was towards the end of summer. They referred to it as the County Fair Parade as it was part of the official County Fair but not at the official fairgrounds. This was a celebration of local traditions and cultural heritage that proceeded down the main street for about 20 blocks. There was even a mermaid and she blew me a kiss.
The floats, marching bands, horses, and people have made this parade a tradition since 1869. I particularly liked the classic 1968 Corvettes . . . Contact me for more information
