What you see here are some of my favorite projects and images - and apparently other people thought so as well. The PROJECTS link - here and above - will show you more of my photographs and graphic design projects.
The Chinese philosopher, Lao Tzu lived hundreds of years before Jesus. He left a corrupt royal court in China and went to the western part of the country dressed as a farmer so he wouldn’t be recognized. At that point he was already known as an important spiritual leader and even with his common clothes people knew who he was and they asked that he write down his wisdom. What he wrote became the Tao Te Ching
And so, a long time ago, I was introduced to the I Ching. At the time it was the ‘thing’ to know - or at least pretend you knew. I once ‘threw’ the I Ching using pennies. I don’t remember if I used the correct procedure, and I didn’t understand the importance of the answer.
The the final hexagram showed the six stacked horizontal lines (starting at the bottom) as - two unbroken (Yang) - two broken (Yin) - and two unbroken again. Inner Truth, also known as Inner Most Sincerity. Considering it was the first and only time I had ‘thrown the I Ching’ the result was incredibly prophetic for the map on which I have been traveling. I was informed:
“Centering in truth involves becoming conscious of the relationship between your heart and the circumstances of your life. This requires connecting with the fundamental wisdom that is within you, within other people, and within all of nature.“

of your story,
Find the beating of your heart
Decide the makeup of your own headlines.
Blissful, blessed, dramatic or dark.
Have a look, what do you see
Is there a sky filled with white clouds?
Or is a storm outside threatening
That fills you full of terror and doubt
Traveling w your woman hand in hand
The place where u started pulls u hard
The things you once hated bring gifts you regard
As what shaped you and made you
Right – where you are
Hold tight your very dark secrets
Hold them close from the very start
Don’t give them out to anyone
Until you see
And feel
And know –
They’re true in their heart
to wash you clean
Think of the one you could trust
Pray for the dreams you shared in your heart
And you turned them into dust
And IF no storms, come tomorrow
And IF no storms, come today
Were you saved from a twisting tornado
Do twisted secrets still remain
Traveling beware of the memories you’ll have
The place where u started is part of u
The things you once hated brought gifts to you
That would help you see –
There was a storm
You thought –
destroyed your life - - - - it actually
